Pronounced ‘Ray-Key’ – Reiki is a spiritual healing modality that channels universal life-force energy to support mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Originating from the Japanese words “rei” (universal) and “ki” (life-force energy), this practice works with the energy that flows through all living things.
By removing energetic blocks, Reiki stimulates the body’s natural healing abilities and restores internal balance. It is a technique accessible to everyone rather than a religion or belief system. Through gentle touch or hands-off methods, a practitioner focuses and amplifies our innate healing potential.
How does REIKI work?
During a treatment, energy is channelled to the recipient either in person or remotely. This practice invites deep relaxation, calms the nervous system, and balances the chakras. As the body relaxes, its natural healing mechanisms are activated. Recipients often describe sensations of warmth or tingling and may experience a profound sense of support or emotional release as long-held tensions are cleared.
Because Reiki is an intelligent energy, it flows where it is needed most. After a session, many people report reduced pain, improved mood, greater resilience, and the manifestation of goals as energetic blocks are released.
